The second module of the “Pastoral Management” program held in October
During 3 days from October 16 to 18, the second module of the Pastoral Management program: Finances held in Kyiv.
The second module of the program was devoted to finances, fundraising, the features of creating a financial plan for a religious organization and sources of funding and extending.
During this module, expert knowledge was shared by:
Mykhailo Sorokin — PhD, Associate Professor, Professor of Finance at the International Institute of Business (IIB-Ukraine), Director of the Financial Management Development Center.
Mykhailo Melnyk — PhD, priest of the Kyiv Archdiocese of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, member of the Patriarchal Council for Economic Affairs of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, co-founder and head of the Ukrainian Social Academy.
Students gained theoretical knowledge and practical skills of creating the budget of the organization, understood the peculiarities of financial reporting and its forms. They also worked on the issues of attracting investment and how to make the idea investment-attractive.
Received knowledge about the peculiarities of creating a grant application and effective fundraising methods.
