THE SECOND MODULE OF THE “SOCIAL INNOVATION MANAGEMENT” PROGRAM WAS HELD
On the third of October, the second module “Social Innovation Management” program took place, where more than 40 participants from 27 organizations together with lecturers discussed legal issues and business modelling.
Natalia Palamarchuk, an experienced lawyer, explained “how” and “where” to register the social entrepreneurship. She taught how to work effectively with the tax system and shared successful model-cases which are worth following.
Mykhailo Melnyk, General Director of the Ukrainian Social Academy, and Petro Darmoris, Executive Director of the Ukrainian Social Academy, described the formation of a value proposition, a methodology for understanding a potential client and a strategic management tool for entrepreneurs – a business model and its completion.
“Despite the huge amount of new and complex information, participants fix all the important points, actively ask questions and communicate with teachers. Each of them has their own idea of social entrepreneurship and a great desire to implement it, and it is inspiring! I am sure that with such a motivation and desire to learn, they will succeed. And in my turn, I will be happy to help them”, says Maria Makarovych, manager of the Social Innovation Management program.
“Social Innovation Management” is a training program that aims to teach the public sector to implement and manage commercial projects with social aspects.
The program is developed for charitable organizations and NGOs that are seeking not only to achieve financial sustainability but also to improve the living standards of their communities and target audiences.
