Social Entrepreneurship Inclusion: how it lasted
The Academy has recently completed the program “Social Entrepreneurship: Inclusion”, which provides for the Accelerator of Social Entrepreneurship in several regions of Ukraine, namely Odessa, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk and Kharkiv.
“Social Entrepreneurship: Inclusion” – is a program for the development of business ideas. It includes business intensive, mentoring and investment pitching. The goal of the program is to help inclusive social projects become financially sustainable and to promote the creation of social enterprises that address the problems of people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups.
During one month, social entrepreneurs from 4 Ukrainian cities studied topics of influence and inclusion, design thinking, marketing, sales, team management, financial and legal aspects of doing business. After the training, they gained unique knowledge and skills, as well as the opportunity to get mentors for their projects and financial support for their development.
Within the program:
– about 10 hours of mentoring sessions were held with participants from Odessa, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk and Kharkiv;
– most of the teams went through the whole accelerator and local pitching, which indicates a high level of awareness and interest of our participants;
– was to attract many professionals from different Ukrainian regions, which contributed to the expansion of the network of contacts and the influence of social leaders.
Now our students are able to create businesses which will change the quality of life of socially vulnerable groups. We are proud of our graduates and ready to help them in their future activities!
