A series of webinars “Development of parish communities through social entrepreneurship” will start on March 3 at the Ukrainian Social Academy.
Registration is opened until March 3.
Participants of the webinars will be told about the best practices of social entrepreneurship in Ukraine and abroad and various models of socially oriented businesses. Students will be introduced to all the intricacies of registration, financial management and reporting of the social enterprise.
“This time we will hold nine webinars, during them we will tell you how to choose and test an idea for a parish enterprise. We will also share successful examples of such enterprises and help priests and laypeople write business plans” – said Petro Darmoris, a member of the Academy’s board.
The Ukrainian Social Academy is convinced that social entrepreneurship is a great tool for increasing parish opportunities in social service and a good way to raise funds for parish development.
“Social enterprise is a business, and business always generates income. The parish will receive not only new opportunities for social service, but also new sources of income” – said Serhiy Oliynyk, director of the Ukrainian Social Academ
