Social business and employment of people with disabilities

“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life”, an ancient Chinese philosopher Confucius once said. Finding one’s favorite business and self-realization are as relevant and important in today’s world as never before.

For people with disabilities it has always been a challenge to find themselves in a favorite business. There are lots of barriers hampering its implementation: public prejudice, inaccessibility of public space, and competition in the labor market. But there are still chances to find a favourite job for everyone.

Do you want to do what you love and not depend on anyone? Do you want to find like-minded people and help others? Do you want to know how to create a social business? Or is it possible to make a socially useful activity your main job and at the same time feel comfortable emotionally and financially? Then we invite you to a webinar from the Ukrainian Social Academy!

At the webinar we will:

– talk about the situation on the labor market and ways of overcoming obstacles;

– learn about the prospects social business provides;

– discuss what qualities and capacities a social entrepreneur must possess;

– talk about the best world examples of social inclusive business;

– discuss the specifics of inclusive business in Ukraine;

– speak about state programs for financing business initiatives;

– learn about new opportunities for studying and self-development.

The Ukrainian Social Academy helps people and inspires them to implement the ideas of social change into a steadily growing business with the help of educational courses and mentors who share their business experience.

We aim at inclusive business!
